These are the official CBIC Customs Exchange Rates used for import/export duty calculation in India.

Issued under Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962. All values are in Indian Rupees (₹) per unit of foreign currency. Importers use the Import rate; Exporters use the Export rate for duty assessment.

Import Duty Breakdown

Formula: Assessable Value (AV) = CIF Value + Landing Charges (1% of CIF). BCD = AV × BCD%. SWS = BCD × SWS%. IGST = (AV + BCD + SWS) × IGST%. Total = BCD + SWS + IGST.
